My intention in creating Mama’s Belly was to create an heirloom, and celebrate women in a new way. We live in a very disposable world, where the concept of passing something on in a family is becoming more difficult and rare. I wanted to create a timeless piece, something that will always remain in style.

A bowl is such a beautiful basic form. It is a comforting and inviting shape, and it is inherently female and motherly. I wanted mothers to see themselves as a vessel, surrendering to a greater power and trusting in nature. This is the visual story I see in each unique bowl. The story of potential, the story of art celebrating life.
